Plot

Two classic Peanuts cartoons. In 'I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown', Rerun, the younger brother of Linus and Lucy, turns to his best friend Snoopy for amusement when Lucy stresses him out. But Snoopy is busy, so he invites his canine brother Spike for a visit. Then the fun begins. In 'A Charlie Brown Christmas', Charlie Brown has found the thinnest, scrawniest Christmas tree ever for the Christmas play. All seems lost until the rest of the gang help to decorate the tree, and discover that a little affection can make all the difference.
