Plot

A brilliantly atmospheric movie about the golden years of the jazz age. Jazzman Dale Turner is kept under lock and key in his Paris hotel room, to save him from his self-destructive liking for alcohol and drugs. He is befriended by a young French jazz fanatic and his life begins to change.
