Absoulutely nothing whatsoever to do with the highly successful and very scary Halloween franchise. However it's a highly original tale of a toymaker's fiendish plot to return Halloween to it's witch cult origins with TV advertising selling masks that are diabolical machines. Sometimes seen as a critique of modern consumerism, this genuinely creepy film is deserving of its cult credentials.
