Plot

A story of the Australian army's fairly ignominious involvement in the Vietnam war. Essentially it's a drama about the disenchantment of the lowly infantrymen, subugated by the snobbish NCOs. Stereotyped in places, it still manages to retain a bitter-sweet edge of tragi-comedy.
