An achingly sincere and subjective film, largely set in Jarman's own garden, which is in the shadow of Dungeness Nuclear Power Station. He uses this as a vehicle to explore his dreams, especially religious and gay themes. It is, in turn stunningly beautiful, intense, touching and amusing.
