Plot

Remade as 'A Fistful of Dollars', this is is a superb example of Kurosawa's brutal and action-packed epic style. The swordsman with no name arrives in a small town, and is immediately in demand to fight for two rival gangs. Ultimately he rises above both. Stirring and very dramatic.
