Set within the context of a 17th century 'miracle play', the birth of a baby boy during a time of terrible infertility is seen as a sign from God, and the townsfolk idolise him. Bizarre, challenging, imaginative and typically ravishing visually. But shocking, and perhaps too inaccessible at times.
