Vincent Ward's imaginative and beatiful odyssey. A medieval Cumbrian village is threatened by plague, and their only hope is to follow the prophecy of a young boy and make a pilgrimage, by building tunnels, to a distant church. Their journey mysteriously takes them far into the future and in New Zealand. Strange and visually stunning.
