Plot

Tennesee Williams's story makes for bleak but compelling viewing. Condemned from the pulpit on release, the story is of an innocent young girl, seduced by her father's rival in an attempt to get revenge for past wrongs. A study of human moral decay that still manages to cut to the bone. Superb.
