Costa Gavras's superb left wing conspiracy thriller, that follows the Lambrakis affair of 1965. The death of a scientist is investigated, and reveals an ever-increasing web of corruption in the Greek police and government. Shot in tense focus, with snappy editing, this is a really classy thriller.
