Plot
A powerful adaptation of Thomas Keneally's novel, based on the life of Jimmy Governor. of a turn of the century half-caste Aboriginal who tries very hard to climb up the white man's ladder, working his way through various neo-colonial roles before erupting in an angry orgy of violence. A very watchable comment on imperialism.
