Plot
Tense and thrilling drama about an emotionally disturbed wife, neglected by her husband, who locks herself away in a world of fantasy. Unable to escape completely she ultimately crashes with with frightening violence. Her performance won Susannah York a best actress award at the Cannes Festival.
