This is quintessential Hong Kong pulp fiction, conflating elements of sci-fi, horror, noir, thriller, the supernatural, action-adventure and instant pathos. The plot involves kidnapped boys, one of whom will be chosen as puppet monarch of an imaginary China, the rest turned into zombie cannibals.
