Plot

A young radical with a gun flees a campus demo after a policeman is fatally wounded. Stealing a plane he flies off over the Mojave desert and encounters flowerchild Daria. They proceed to Zabriskie Point, where they make love. Interest in this cult, cinematically beautiful, outsider's vision of American counter-culture versus materialism has recently revived.
