CITY LIGHTS (1990)

Plot
When will those jocks ever learn?? They're not funny. They never were. And with sordid efforts at tickling my ribs like THIS... I don't think they ever will be!? I just don't know anymore. I mean they used to do some stuff alright. Knitting, swearing... Maybe it's becase they didn't get tellys til 1989, and maybe they weren't used to them at the time they made this. I'm sure there must be a reason and I know the Scots must be better than this, but, y'know, I just don't care about them anymore. From now on, Britain will stop in my mind at Scotch Corner. (The narrow minded, bile infected views expressed in this review in no way represent those held by the lovely people at 20th Century Flicks. The spelling errors that litter the piece represent the failings of education in England. No one found this review as funny as the reviewer did, not even the writers of City Lights. The reviewer has since been driven to Glasgow in the boot of a car and left to beg for assistance on Sauchihall Street wearing nothing but an England shirt and a nervous smile.)
