AND JUSTICE FOR ALL (1979)
NORMAN JEWISON
Plot
Al Pacino finally gets to play the right side of the law or so it seems. Disillusioned lawyer Arthur is hired to defend a judge whom he knows is guilty of the heinous crimes he is being tried for. When a prominent judge on the circuit tries to convince Arthur to play the corrupt game of high-profile law, the trial becomes about the fate of Arthur's soul as much as about his client's future as a free man. A must-see for Pacino fans (he was nominated for an Academy Award for this role) and court room drama fans alike.
