A London subway excavation abruptly halts when construction workers unearth a cluster of prehistoric skulls and skeletons. Anthropologist Dr Roney, his assistant Barbara, and space expert Professor Quatermass are driven by curiosity and dig deeper to discover a strange 'missile' that is not of this earth. A classic si-fi horror that relies on impending dread rather than blood and guts.
