KISSED (1996)
LYNNE STOPKEWICH
Plot
Certified amid much carry-on over its supposedly subversive content, "Kissed" turns out to be a pleasantly (or disappointingly, depending on your persuasion) palatable portrait of a hopeless romantic of the most deeply disturbed variety. Sandra (Molly Parker) has a morbid fascination with all things dead which, after she takes a job in a mortuary, mutates into a sexual obsession with young male corpses. Is she lonely or just plain loopy? The answer becomes worryingly clear when she begins a romance with a surprisingly sympathetic, and very alive, young stud.
