Superb, smouldering thriller with an excellent performance from Woody Harrelson as an honest ex-jailbird whose chances of keeping on the right side of the law look slim when he hooks up with Rhea (Elizabeth Shue). Tempting him away from his girlfriend Nina (Gina Gershon), Rhea's plan is to set up the phoney kidnapping of her precocious stepdaughter (Chloe Sevigny) in order to extract some readies from her stingy millionaire hubby. All Harry has to do is write the ransom note and pick up his $50,000 share. What could possibly go wrong?
