In "The Sound of Her Voice" the Defiant races to the rescue of a lone Starfleet Officer stranded on a remote planet. But as the crew talks to her disembodied voice, Julian discovers that the planet's poisonous atmosphere is slowly killing her........ In "Tears of the Prophets" Sisko is faced with an ultimatum from Starfleet, but ignores the advice of the Prophets and leaves Deep Space Nine to lead the Federation in the invasion of Cardassia. As the full force of the the Dominion Military is engaged, the station is at the mercy of the vengeful Gul Dukat, with devastating consequences.
