Jenny Agutter and Lucien John play a young brother and sister, stranded in the Australian wilderness after the sudden death of their father during a picnic. As the pair wander lost through the outback, they meet a young Aborigine on the brink of manhood, and for all three the journey becomes not only a fight for survival but a voyage of self-discovery and sexual awakening. Haunting and beautifully filmed.
