The director of "City on Fire" presents some period martial arts mayhem in this blood-spattered tale. An exotic, legendary battle between the forces of good and evil comes to life as the celebrated disciples of the Shaolin Temple, monks, who practice a lethal and spiritual form of martial arts, fight the evil Red Lotus monks, followers of China's Manchu rulers, in an underworld inferno. Full-on fighting scenes and a spooky, gothic atmosphere.
