Playing heavily on its John Woo connections, "Replacement Killers" casts Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun-Fat in a virtual carbon copy of his role in "The Killer". As an assassin bulldozed by the Chinese Mafia into one last hit, Chow falls foul of the mob when he refuses to wipe out his victim's seven-year-old son, and has to face an unpleasant truth - even killers can be replaced. Mira Sorvino ("Mighty Aphrodite") squeals splendidly as the cute counterfeiter who teams up with Chow in this pistol-packin' and very noisy all-action experience.
