Plot

In "Night", Voyager is attacked and invaded by aliens with superior weaponry whilst traversing a pitch black region of space. When a third party comes to the rescue of the demoralised crew, offering to show Voyager a short cut through the void, a reclusive Captain Janeway is drawn into a dispute with potentially lethal consequences. In "Drone", a transporter malfunction results in the birth of a new crew member: a super-advanced Borg Drone. Although initially excited by the new arrival's quest for knowledge, the crew's attitude changes when the Drone summons an extremely hostile Borg sphere.
