Plot

In "Latent Image", the Doctor makes a worrying discovery while using his holo-imaging device; someone has carried out neurological surgery which neither the victim or doctor can recall, and a large section of the Doctor's short-term memory has been erased. In "Bride of Chaotica!", armed conflict erupts when aliens from the Fifth Dimension mistake Tom Paris' "Captain Proton" holographic novel for reality. With Voyager rendered helpless, Janeway is forced to assume the role of Arachnia, Queen of the Spider People, to help the aliens win the battle against the evil Dr Chaotica.
