In "Juggernaut", Janeway rescues two crewmembers of an out-of-control Malon freighter, learning that the vessel is due to explode, destroying everything within three light years. To save Voyager, Torres leads an away team to the doomed ship, ignoring warnings of a violent and malevolent mythical creature that lurks on board. In "Someone to Watch Over Me", to broaden her knowledge of human behaviour, the Doctor gives Seven of Nine lessons on socialising and courting rituals. This includes how to conduct herself during a slow dance, and how to smoulder while she sings. Although the potential mate is carefully and logically selected, the resulting date has surprisingly un-scientific results.
