Wes Craven's given up the reins here, so fans of the original may be disappointed. But at least there's some continuity with the plot, which involves a spooky, ancient jewel that imprisons the legendary monster Djinn. When petty thief Morgana gets her hands on the jewel, she discovers that it can make your wishes come true, but it can also turn them into your worst nightmare. But luckily Morgana's brother is a priest, and between the two of them they might just be able to save the world from an eternity of horror and chaos. For horror-hungry gluttons only.
