Pete Postlethwaite is a man with a mission in this Northern comedy-drama from the writer of "The Full Monty". The job: for he and his team to paint 15 miles of electricity pylons stretching out across the Yorkshire moors in just three short months. This naturally gives ample opportunity for some marvellous aerial cinematography, including Postlethwaite's clinch with Aussie hiker Rachel Griffiths atop a water tower, while the characterisation is spot-on. Charming if ultimately uneventful.
