Plot

Feature-length special, which sees Mulder fighting for his life in an effort to discover the origin of mankind. An alien artifact is found, which may hold the secret of the genesis of all human life, but, while Mulder and Scully are investigating, Mulder develops a deadly illness somehow related to the artifact. Meanwhile Assistant Director Skinner, Agent Fowley, Kritschgau and the CSM may be involved in another sinister secret agenda.
