Plot

Libby discovers upon the brutal murder of her husband that her idyllic marriage was nothing but a sham. Convicted for the death, once paroled she decides to track down the husband she now knows to be still alive. Spurred not only by revenge and the desire to find her son, but also by the fact that someone who has been convicted of someone's murder once, cannot be convicted for killing them again, Libby sets out on the hunt, closely followed by her parole officer. A Hollywood popcorn thriller, Double Jeopardy has some spirited performances, but little in the way of originality.
