Mary Jo Walker has been running most of her life, an inability to settle and a never endingly disastrous choice in men have always kept her moving, her only valued belonging being her 12 year old daughter. The picture postcard town mother and daughter move to, once again spells doom for Mary's love life, but her child Avia, settled and happy for the first time in her life is no longer so prepared to follow her mother on the next migration. Tumbleweeds is a delightful, perfectly performed comedy drama.
