Million Dollar Hotel is a run down hole of a place where many of Los Angeles outcasts and misfits reside. When one of them comes to a prematurely sticky end the police move in to investigate and find the conventional boundaries of life, death and the law are nolonger as clear as they had seemed. A film by Wim Wenders from a story by Bono of U2 this is an unusual and visually striking movie, whether it's actually any good is probably a very personal point of view.
