A group of young Parisian friends find that one amongst them has a fatal illness, the realisation that he will not be amongst them for very much longer is particularly hard for the friends to come to terms with, and we follow them over the course of a year as each to tries to deal with their loss. Late August, Early September is a touching and freshly observed story of relationships and finding something positive from the depths of sorrow and regret.
