Plot

Sam and Lucy are the perfect couple, successful, in love and still going at it hammer and tongs, the only flaw in this perfect picture is that they don't seem able to conceive a baby. Sam buries himself in writing a screenplay but neglects to tell Lucy that he is writing it about a couple who can't have a baby, using his wife's private diary to flesh out his female character. You just know what this little recipe for disaster is going to produce but Maybe Baby is an amiable and enjoyable (if undemanding) romantic comedy.
