Plot
Kingdom Swann, has diversified from painting to the still relatively new invention of photography, and with the help of ever his supportive housekeeper, Violet Askey, business is booming. But thanks to an unscrupulous assistant, Swann soon finds himself at the centre of a sex scandal, his misery compounded by Violet's angered stand against him under the banner of the suffragettes.
