Tom is sent to the country to stay with his uncle and aunt who have a flat in an old Edwardian family home. Bored witless, one night, Tom discovers on the thirteenth chime of an old grandfather clock that the derelict backyard is transformed into a beautiful garden from an era long gone. Adapted from Philippa Pearce's novel, Tom's Midnight Garden is an enchanting tale very much in the spirit of "The Secret Garden".
