Patsy is dying, but her morphia induced high is making her last weeks a surreal yet perceptive experience. The desending of her children is an opportunity for Patsy to bring them all together, though her husband is appalled by their return. Soft Fruit is an offbeat Australian comedy drama, sweet, sour, kind and hard; not to everyones taste but a touching and enjoyable film for those with the palate.
