Plot

A young, black television writer is under pressure from his bosses to come up with a comedy that is funny, and which stars black people in non-threatening personas. Not surprisingly our hero is slightly insulted and sets about putting together the most racist, reactionary and offensive program he can imagine; 'Mantan-The New Millennium Minstrel Show'. Unfortunately his two fingered salute is a huge success. Bamboozled is another classic Spike Lee 'joint', It's a bit messy, but it also has plenty of wit. Yes, of course it has a message, but it's not a lecture, so you can take away from it what you want.
