A high-flying young copper is recruited by the 'Feds' to uncover police corruption. Unfortunately he ends up opening a can of worms, caught between loyalty to his friends, colleagues, the Feds, his family, the local Italian-American community from which he comes, and his conscience. A superior movie with an intricately constructed plot and loads of atmosphere.
