Jeanne arrives at the Polonski family home to meet the celebrated pianist Andre. A pianist herself Jeanne suspects that she may be Andre's daughter, but finds the behaviour of his second wife increasingly odd. The more she observes the more intrigued she becomes and soon Jeane has committed herself to unravelling the dark web that surrounds the family and in-particular the wife, Mika. Merci Pour Le Chocolat is a stylish and perfectly performed mystery thriller; darkly humorous and fascinating.
