Plot

Castella has amassed huge financial success but in the process he has lost sight of everything but accumulating more wealth. One night he goes to the theatre and there on stage he witnesses Clara, whose performance touches something deep in his soul. Castella becomes obsessed by Clara and uses everything within his power to force himself into her world, but it is only as he begins to learn some humanity and compassion that Clara begins to return some of his affections. Le Gout Des Autres is a gentle and observant comedy, with well-fleshed out characters that realistically slip between pathos and humour.
